Bangkok Airport Guide to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)

Bangkok Airport Bus lines and shuttles to city center

From the Bus Terminal in Bangkok airport you can find several bus lines which can take you from the Transport Centre to the city centre. 

There is a 24-hour shuttle bus which takes you from the Arrivals hall on the second floor to the Transport Centre for just 35 baht. 

Opening hours are from 04:00 am to 23:00 pm.

Airport Express Shuttle Bus

Airport Express buses operates in four different routes:

- Route AE-1: Bangkok Airport to Silom Road (Skytrain of Subway connection can be made from this stop). 

- Route AE-2: Bangkok Airport to Banglamphu*

- Route AE-3: Bangkok Airport to Nana area of Sukhumvit. 

- Route AE-4: Bangkok Airport to Hua Lumphong (it is Bangkok’s Central Railway Station). 

*Just remind you that in 2011 stopped running AE-2 to Khao San Rd bus lines, so it is no longer available.

Opening hours: From 5:00 am to 00:00 am, every hour.


Find the Airport Express counter at the first level of the Airport terminal.


Take any of the four routes for 150 baht.

Public transport

You can take either of the following BMTA public bus lines and get to Bangkok city:

- 549: Suvarnabhumi to Min Buri
- 550: Suvarnabhumi to Bang Kapi
- 551: Suvarnabhumi to Victory Monument
- 552: Suvarnabhumi to On Nut
- 552A: Suvarnabhumi to Sam Rong
- 553: Suvarnabhumi to Samut Prakan
- 554: Suvarnabhumi to Don Mueang Airport
- 555: Suvarnabhumi to Rangsit (using the expressway)
- 558: Suvarnabhumi to Central Rama 2
- 559: Suvarnabhumi to Future Park Rangsit (using the outer ring road)
